The Global Revival Gospel Ministries, a.k.a. Christian Teaching Centre was founded in April 1987 in Nigeria West Africa by Dr. John Esuga Akpami.
Dr. Akpami is a retired medical practitioner who also holds a doctorate degree in Pastoral Theology from Evangel Christian University USA. He is President of the Global Revival Bible Training Institute, a diploma and degree awarding Bible School committed to raising church ministers and christian leaders. Dr. Akpami is the proprietor of Christian Teaching Center Academy a secular primary and secondary school known for excellence. He is also an author of over 50 books and has been on the television since 1996.
The vision of the Church is to equip God’s people for God’s work.
Part of the objectives of the Church are :
To embark on Evangelical and Discipleship programs with a view of winning souls for God’s kingdom.
Publish Christian literatures
Train and equip future ministers and Church leaders.
Spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through the media : Electronic, Print and the Internet.
To carry out relief programs among people of all nations affected by hunger, natural disasters, etc.

Over the years, branches of the ministry have spread across Nigeria, some other West African countries and, United States of America and Canada.
